Here we encourage comedians\, poets\, creative writers or singers to come and share their work.  \nIt doesn’t matter if your here to Workshop your work or present a finished piece\, it does not matter\, we just want you to share.  \nJust picture it…  your chilling on some couches\, gathered in a dim room\, incense and To go with that some sweets. \nDecadent chilli Brownies options varying from honey pistachio cheesecake to sweet potato pie\, orange marmalade cake to cherry pie.  \nWhile you’re munching and sipping\, oh… oh… what’s… what’s that?  \nIt’s a performance happening right before you… of the spoken type. \nAn open mic to perform\, Support or to just absorb.  \nAmateurs and the well-seasoned\, urban style spoken word and classical sonnets all on the one stage. Comedians\, creative story teller and performance pieces all welcome!  \nSnaps and snacks y’all and you’ve only spent $10? \nEvery second Saturday of the month we do this\, for real … we do. \nHeld at the amazing Afro Hub  we now have the ability to purchase rich African dishes and desserts. Vegan and gluten free options always available in this kitchen.  \nAll open mic’ers are encouraged to read what ever they like\, the only rule is that it’s not offensive to others no tolerance form racist\, sexist and Xenophobic readings ect.\nMs Millie’s is now held down stairs. \nInbox for a slot once the call is out 😁\nSee y’all there.b \n
