ZIIMUSIC is the new band by Zimbabwean born, Melbourne based musician ZII, blending Hip Hop and Jazz into one Soulful experience.
Since 2015, ZIIMUSIC have played extensively across Melbourne supporting artists such as Andy Mineo, Tedashii and DJ Promote (US) while headlining shows at The Evelyn hotel, Grumpys, The Toff In Town and selling out The Retreat
2016 saw ZIIMUSIC release their debut EP titled ‘Through These Eyes’ reaching the semi-finals of the International Songwriters Competition, were also nominated for a Bank of Melbourne Award. Following this success, the EP has also been aired on multiple local, national and US radio stations debuting in the top 4 on CMJ’s Radio 200 charts and several top 10 debut entries. Now back in the studio, ZIIMUSIC are set to release a new EP in October and working towards the release of their debut LP in May 2018.
